Autism in Rural Ontario Canada

Our family, there are three diagnosed on the ASD spectrum,  one child is PPD-NOS, the second is Asperger's and our third is Moderate Autism. All the children, have other diagnoses, such as Severe ADD-through mild Add, seizure disorders.  Anxiety and fear. Asthma & Severe environmental allergies.
Living in rural farming country is very difficult for all the children. Daily they struggle, if one has an allergy utbreak, another may not for this day, and the cycle goes, one day , one kid, one day two kids, sometimes it is all three.
We were fortunate about 16 years ago to have the opportunity, to adopt an abandoned puppy, through Friends of abandoned pets, Ottawa. We had a great bond from the day we chose the puppy that would be our family member. Abbey-Gayle was a flat top retriever, black, female. From the time she joined the family until the day of her passing, she was amazing. Personnally I did all the training, for the family, and Abbey responded to each member accordingly. Abbey was clicker trained,  whistle trained, as well as sign.
